Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
- Essential only by default: one cookie keeps you logged in, and one setting saved in your browser remembers your cookie choice.
- No tracking: we don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
- Change your mind any time: use the “Change cookie settings” button below.
- Games are different: when you play, the game's publisher may set its own cookies inside the game.
This Cookie Policy explains how OzPlayHub (ozplayhub.com) uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data in general.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. They let the site remember things between pages - for example, that you are logged in. Local storage works in a similar way, but the information stays in your browser and is not sent to the website with every request. In this policy, “cookies” covers both.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company - for example, by a game publisher inside a game - are third-party cookies.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are needed for the site to work and for the security of your account. The law allows them without consent, and they cannot be switched off on our site. We don't use them to track you or for advertising.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OZPLAYHUB_SESSID | ozplayhub.com (first party) | Keeps you logged in as you move between pages, and protects our forms against forgery (CSRF). | Strictly necessary - cookie | Until you close your browser. Our server also ends the session after 2 hours without activity, or when you log out. |
| ozph_consent | ozplayhub.com (first party) | Remembers your cookie choice, so we don't ask on every page. | Strictly necessary - local storage | Until you change your choice or clear your browser's site data. |
Optional (only with your consent)
We do not currently use any optional cookies - no analytics, advertising or social-media cookies. If we ever add them, we will update this policy first and set them only after you have clicked “Accept all” on our cookie banner.
3. Your choices
On your first visit, a banner asks you to choose between “Accept all” and “Essential only”. Both buttons are equally easy to use, the banner never blocks the page, and only the strictly necessary items above are ever used, whichever you choose. Your choice is saved in your browser (the ozph_consent item above), so it applies to this browser and device only.
You can change your mind at any time:
You can also view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings - usually under “Privacy” or “Site data”. Most browsers can also block third-party cookies on their own. Please note: if you block all cookies for our site, you won't be able to log in, because the login itself needs the session cookie.
4. Third-party cookies
Games
Our games are made and hosted by a third-party publisher, HTMLGames.com. When you open a game, it loads in a frame directly from the publisher's servers. Every game shows the publisher's own advertising (supplied through Google's advertising services and other ad partners) and asks for your consent to its own cookies and its partners' cookies in its own consent window, where you can accept or refuse them. The publisher may also set cookies or use local storage to save your progress and to measure how its games are played. These cookies are controlled by the publisher, not by us, and our cookie banner does not switch them on or off. They are covered by the HTMLGames.com privacy policy, and you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings.
5. Changes to this policy
If the cookies we use change, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. If we add optional cookies, we will ask for your consent before using them.
